What is Artificial Grass Grass & How Does It Work
Artificial Grass is a carpet like product with a surface of synthetic fibers made to look like natural grass found in any garden. It is most often used in fields for sports that were originally or are normally played on natural grass. However, it is now being used on residential gardens and commercial applications as well. The main reason is maintenance—fake grass stands up to heavy use, such as in sports, and requires no irrigation or trimming. Domed, covered, and partially covered stadiums may require fake grass because of the difficulty of getting grass enough sunlight to stay healthy.
Why Install Artificial Grass?
Wet and muddy gardens are a common sight in Cape Town, and recently and dead and sandy due to the current drought experienced in Cape Town. Whilst global temperatures are rising, we’re still having to contend with extreme weather patterns, making our garden maintenance more and more time consuming. Artificial grass (also known as Synthetic Grass, Fake Grass and Artificial Lawn) is your answer to both muddy and wet conditions or extreme drought conditions. Nowadays with advanced technology, artificial lawns look and feel incredibly realistic and can solve any home owners garden nightmares.
Artificial grass has been around for many years now and is becoming more and more popular with pet owners, school play areas and sports pitches. Gone are the days of letting your pet or child into the back garden, only to find them covered in mud and trailing it through the house.
