What happens when it rains?

Our synthetic grass range is perforated and extremely water permable so any excess water simply seeps through into the sub base underneath.

How hot does the artificial grass get and will i burn my feet?

No, it will not burn your feet but just like decking or stone around a swimming pool it can become very warm when it is in the sun’s direct rays. As soon the sun’s rays have passed it will begin to cool down very quickly. Although it will never become as hot as sand on a beach or asphalt it is still advisable to wear shoes when walking on the grass in the heat of the day during the summer in South Africa. A solution to keep your grass cooler for longer in areas known to get alot of sunlight is to simply add silica sand to the area, this helps keeps the grass dense and slow down the heeting process significantly.

Can artificial grass be used around pool areas?

Absolutely. All our products when installed correctly is water permeable.
